Career Goals
Short Term:
I plan on working on an organic farm in Hana, Maui for the summer of 2012
Starting in August 2012 I will be attending the Dietetic Internship at Napa State Hospital.
Once I have completed my Dietetic Internship I plan on taking and a passing the Registered Dietitian exam.
I intend to join the Food Corps for the required one year of service after I have obtained my RD to help low income families with food insecurity.
I plan to go back to school for three years while doing a coordinated program of getting my masters and joining the Peace Corps.
Long Term:
I plan on working with farm to school programs in the United States.
I would like to work with children on nutrition education to increase prevention of chronic disease through eating habits.
